All these things have the potential to give us perspective, and it is perspective that can be the thing that can keep us in the game.
We all face times when then the thing(s) we love can get buried in our life swamp and we start to struggle to make them a priority or make them happen at all. It is at times like these that we start to do things like lose sight of the big goals, forget to the do the easy but important things, we may take certain things for granted, or worse still, start to think about changing things just to make life easier.
We all know someone that is successful. They are at the top of their game, they make the magic happen daily and they seem to do it with ease.
They will be the first one to tell you that “ease” is rarely present. They will tell you that to make the magic daily, it has taken them countless days with no magic, but instead days filled with vision and determination and holding on, so that the magic can become a reality. One that they have earned.
So, when the life swamp starts to suck you down along with your dreams and hopes, remember that one way to find your way out, is to look at your situation from a different angle.
If getting up every day and doing the thing you know you need to do is wearing you down, then engineer a way to not have to do that for a time. Sometimes taking something away, is the best way to make you want it even more. For some, even the thought of not having the thing you want most is enough to give your system the shock it needs to start working at the magic again.
Nobody is ever going to force you to become the person you want to be. It has to come from within you and nobody is ever going to be able to do it for you, it has to come out of you.
Be sure that where you are going has been decided upon with clarity and decisiveness. KNOW what you want and if you ever start to lose sight of it, step back, regain the perspective you need to be sure, and begin again.
